LGBTQIA+ artists and allies reigned supreme at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
On 1 February, the Recording Academy celebrated the best recordings, compositions and artists from 31 August 2024 to 30 August 2025, with South African comedian Trevor Noah returning to hosting duties for his sixth consecutive (and final) year.
The ceremony featured an array of star-studded performances from artists including Rosé, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, Lauryn Hill, Chaka Khan, Reba McEntire and more.
With seven nominations for her widely acclaimed sixth studio album MAYHEM, Lady Gaga delivered a rock rendition of her iconic single ‘Abracadabra’, backed by a live band that included producer Andrew Watt on guitar and Nine Inch Nails drummer Josh Freese.

Six-time nominee Tyler, the Creator was joined by Oscar-winning actress Regina King for a performance of ‘Thought I Was Dead’, taken from his eighth album Chromakopia, alongside his viral electro-hop banger ‘Sugar on My Tongue’.
During the Best New Artist medley, which featured The Marías, Addison Rae, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, Olivia Dean and Sombr, Britain’s breakout bi-con Lola Young performed her worldwide chart-topper ‘Messy’.
