Olivia Colman has spoken about her gender identity and close connection to the LGBTQIA+ community.

In a new interview with Them, in support of her latest film Jimpa, the beloved Oscar winner reflected on her longstanding career and the number of LGBTQIA+ projects she has been involved in, such as Heartstopper, The Favourite, and Beautiful People.

When asked what excites her as a "storyteller and actor " about stories that include the queer community, Colman told the news outlet: "I think it's a community that I love being welcomed into. I find the most loving and the most beautiful stories are from that community. And I feel really honoured to be welcomed."

The Night Agent star went on reveal that she's had "arguments with people" about her feeling "sort of nonbinary."
