Food for thot? Welcome to the Gay Times Food Issue
Heading up the latest issue of Gay Times Magazine? Everyone's favourite baker, John Whaite

Welcome to the latest issue of Gay Times Magazine, themed (kinda!) around all things food.
When we were approached with an opportunity to feature John Whaite, we knew we had to take it. The baker burst onto our screens on the third season of The Great British Bakeoff and easily won hearts thanks to his charm and boy next door vibe (of course, he won). Since then, he's penned lucrative brand deals and cook books, and even appeared on Strictly Come Dancing. Earlier this year, he made the decision to join OnlyFans, changing the course of his career. Clad in latex for his cover feature, Whaite talks to Ryan Cahill about embracing his body, refusing to censor himself, and his loving relationship with his husband.
Inspired by our brilliant baker cover star, we tapped writer Emily M Cameron to explore the influence of lesbians, non-binary people, and queer women on London's food scene – from award-winning burgers to flaky patties to French cuisine. The rest of the issue aims to proffer some food for thought across a trio of broad-ranging features.
Responding to newly published RSE guidance in the UK which have been met with rightful outrage by the trans community, Quinn Rhodes investigates whether we may be witnessing a new iteration of Section 28.
Writer and curator P. Eldridge returns for her monthly column exploring love and dating, this time considering the detriment of comparing oneself to an ex's current partner.
Lastly, ahead of Trans Pride in the UK and various Pride parades across Europe this summer, Eliel Cruz draws on his own experience as an organiser in NYC's queer movement to argue why there shouldn't be police presence at Pride marches.
Happy reading!
